		The Bog
	All three fifth classes were going to Ardkill Bog. There was great excitement going on, the bog was in Kildare. So we had to get the bus, it took about an hour to get to the bog. When we got there we had to get our wellies and rain jackets on even though it was really warm. After everybody was ready we had to walk circa half a mile to get there. We saw a Frog! When we actually got onto the bog we all started to jump and bounce on it. It was like a little bouncing castle.We got to stand in the bog and loads of people fell in. In the little kind of ponds we saw water spiders, they were disgusting. We all saw the Carbury Castle. It looked like it was only half built because it was so old . Some of us noticed that the peat in the bog was very very black.Some of us ate cranberries and blackberries. I don't think that they tasted that nice. Well anyway ! I really enjoyed it!
