Last Friday we went to the bog, our class went on the mini bus and the others went on a double decker bus . When we arrived there we got out of the bus and wandered around for a while . There was a dog there called Tibor and he was really playful. After a while our teachers called us to go. On our way we saw cows, sheep and frogs. When we got there we started jumping on the bog, it was bouncy. We saw lots of plants; spaghanum moss, its a type of sponge it can hold lots of water. Lichen , its white and its called Old man's beard and its a sign of fresh air. I also fell into a bog hole. We found blackberries which were lovely, and cranberries which were horrible. I also found a frog which was slimy and slippery and grey. It was a preserved raised bog. When we got back to the farm we had our lunch and went home. I had a great day!
