| Our Trip to the Bog | ||||
It was Friday, the day my whole class went to the bog. We were all waiting for the coach and mini bus. At last they were here so we went out of our class and on to the mini bus. When we got there we all jumped off the bus and we ran over to the dog called Tibor. Then a man called Cecil called us over, so we went over to him. And he said that he was going to show us the bog, so he did. As I walking along the next minute I fell down a bog hole. I climbed out and there was a heap of water in my welly boots I was really cold. And Cecil showed us spagnum moss which holds loads of water. Even when you feel that it is dry there is still water in it.And lichen stands for old mans beard. Sundew is an insect eater. And we saw some cranberries and blackberries. When we got back to the farm we had some lunch and the lady asked us if we wanted some buns. When we finished we went home. |
