Last Friday we went to the Ardkill bog. Our teachers had organised a coach and mini bus to come and pick us up. Our class and Mrs Kellys class went on the mini bus. It took an hour to get down to the farm. Then we had to walk for five minutes to get to the bog. When we got on the bog I noticed it wasn't like a normal field. It was much more wet and soppy. We found a lot of different animals and plants. Most people caught frogs and found heather and old mans beard. When we came back from the bog we had our lunch. After that we got on to the mini bus and went back to school. I enjoyed the trip to the bog.
