The original writer of scream Kevin williamson, called it scary movie but the producers soon changed it to scream!
Although kevin williamson wrote scream 1 and 2. He did not write number 3
because he wanted to work on his American daytime series called Wasteland
Ehren kruger stepped in to do scream 3. He also wrote Arlington road.

He also did not come back for the sequel !
