Pupils in 3rd class in Mrs. Arthur's room have been busy the last few weeks working on their Steps Engineers Programme. Pupils have got into teams and engaged in a designing and making process allowing them to act and think like an engineer. The aim of the project was to make and design something that would be useful to the people in their local community. Pupils came up with many ideas such as solar panel lights on Portmarnock Seafront, a covid friendly playground and an animal reserve. See below their great work. They are really looking forward to their visit from an Engineer this week.
